Join MCRP

• When you join Monroe County Republican Party you meet positive, down-to-earth neighbors and expand your friendship circle.  As a party member you receive emails and other information about how we are helping candidates and elected officials keep our county conservative and a wonderful place to live for generations to come!

Attend and open MCRP Executive Committee meeting

• These are generally the first Monday each month at our office and attending is a great way for you to hear updates from Officers, from our committee chairs and from our elected officials. Sometimes we have guest speakers and candidates too.  

Help with local elections (as a poll greeter, challenger or worker)

• Conducting honest and transparent elections is fundamental to a free republic!  Your participation is so important and appreciated. No experience necessary, training and support is provided by the clerk. Contact our county clerk Annamarie Osment at 734-240-7020 or annamarie_osment@monroemi.org to register.

Donate to MCRP

• Donated funds help us increase our outreach efforts, keep more people informed, develop tools and strategy, hold more public events, and directly supports America First candidates across our entire county.  

Become a Precinct Delegate

• The PD is the most powerful elected office!  They are liaisons between their community and the county party. Each PD represents about 3,000 voters and an active PD is instrumental in voter turnout and engagement. Precinct Delegates help define the party platform and many attend county and state conventions throughout the year to decide which candidates to endorse.

Display a sign in your yard

• As an informed voter you know the candidates that you want to support. Show them some love and display a sign in your yard or in front of your business.

Volunteer as a phone banker

• Work on a call list to help candidates reach out to their constituents. We provide the training, the lists and the scripts.

Volunteer as a door knocker

• Get your steps in by helping candidates reach out to their constituents in the ground game. We provide the training and the walk lists. Noone walks alone.

Help at events

• Do you enjoy decorating, setting up table displays, interacting with crowds, walking in parades?  Are you handy?  Do you like shopping and arranging baskets?  Using your talent to help at an MCRP event would be perfect for you.

Work in the office

• Do you like to organize and clean?  Do you like to write notes, greet visitors and hand out yard signs?  Putting your interest to work during our open office hours would be perfect for you.

Talk to your friends... 

• As mentioned before, our free republic exists so long as the citizenry stays engaged and informed in the governmental process.  As you learn more, we encourage you to bring others along for the journey too. We all win when government works for We The People!

Attend local civic meetings

• This is another great way to stay informed of decisions in your community and make sure your voice is heard. Find your local school board meetings, your local township and planning meetings so you can hear what is being debated, discussed and decided upon.  Look up minutes and other information, all of it is publicly available.
